Start appwiz.cpl
At the Uninstall or change a program choose the “Microsoft SQL Server 2017 (64-bit)” in the list and click “Uninstall/Change“
Click “Remove”
Select the “instance that needs to be removed from the drop down list.
Only select “”Database Engine Services” and “Reporting Services – Native”.
Do not select any of the Shared Features !!
Click “Next >” , click “Remove” anc click “Done”.
